DUTCH OVEN DEVIL’S FOOD CAKE (OR JORDAN RIVER MUDD)

Line dutch oven with foil, trim edges and spray with pam. In a bowl, combine:
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup baking cocoa
2 cups water
2 cups marshmallows
Stir together and pour in bottom of dutch oven. Prepare 1 devil’s food cake mix as directed on box. Pour over top to cover liquid.
For a 12” dutch oven use 7 or 8 coals on bottom, and 12-14 on the top. Takes approx. 1 hour to bake, or Bake in oven at 325 for 1 hour.
